View from flights to Chicago on the way to Des Moines

Checked into Embassy Suites – definitely recommend it. Staff are great, rooms are cheap – for what you get (I stayed in a suite that had a lounge, kitchen area (including sink, microwave oven and fridge), bathroom, bedroom with two king beds and in room sink.

Colleagues in Des Moines had scheduled my trip – very thoughtful.. also an illustration of depreciation.

State Historical Museum of Iowa – Small but for something that is free worth a visit.

Photo op. @ Jasper Winery’s Annual release Party – a chance to mingle with locals.

American Dream Machines – really nice cars worth checking out… pricing is amazingly good! Will definitely buy one one day.

Capitol building – Free guided tours. A beautiful building.

The big shoot – 11 guns, lots of ammo – a perfect day. Thank you to those that made it happen!!!
